Inspired by Josiah's Random Saturday, I have decided to create a highlights of the week post every Saturday. This will usually be funny moments from church etc. so that most people recognize them, but an obscure reference or two to a hilarious conversation in our house/car/wherever may be found.
MONDAY: Trip to Sweet Tomatoes. "What do you get if you tell a politician to tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Three different answers." "Pour Mexican alcohol into a birdbath if you want Tequilla mockingbird." I nearly busted a gut that evening, and it can't have been good for my digestion.
THURSDAY: Final exams over! I recited a long list of things I didn't do, and so of course when I got to 'bullwhip', Josh goes and raises his hand and announces "That would be me!" Ah well, at least there was comic relief in my speech.
Now, if I were to recount all the laughable moments that night, I'd need a couple of pages, so i shan't bore you all with details.
SATURDAY: The RODENT OF DOOM! Otherwise known as our dear, departed squirrel.
